This is a poem by another wonderful friend, Maria Doherty. It's fiendishly difficult to read, because Maria builds in so much sub-text. I hope I do it justice.

I was browsing through your blog when I came across my poem again. I just wanted to say thank you for how perfectly you read it. Your beautiful voice expressed exactly how I felt and I confess I cried all over again.
