Blogger doesn't like me, nor does Pingoat

Talk about internet woes. First, I tried to use Pingoat's service (which works fine for my other blogs) and was told good ole Bloggy Howl has been blacklisted.

What's more, they're so understaffed, they can't handle my problem for a while yet. So if you have time, please volunteer to help pingoat.com and take some of us genuine bloggers off the blacklist.

And then, blogger won't let me post to or edit posts on a blog of which I am the co-moderator. Yeah, so all those other co-bloggers send me messages asking for help and I can't, because, for some reason, blogger has decided that the blog itself doesn't exist for me. Everything works fine until I hit "publish". EVERYTHING. I can log in, go to the dashboard, either go to the 'create' section or 'edit' section of the blog in question. However, when I hit "Publish" I'm told the blog couldn't be found.

So I have no idea if this blogpost is going to show up at all. And my keyboard sucks. It drops letters or transposes them.

What were they thinking?

Saw a blog titled, "Another Man's Meat"

Innocent, wouldn't you say?

I say, "Goldarn! There's no way another man's meat is coming anywhere near my wife." The fact that I don't (and am unlikely to ever) have a wife is irrelevant. What was the guy thinking, to create such a blog title?

Now for the Indian scenario:

There's an ad being repeated on TV that has a refrain "Thoda hilana pada" (had to shake it/him up a bit).

Innocent, if you go by the purely English meaning.

Unfortunately, "hilana" has a rather raunchy meaning in Hindi.

So you have a modern Indian wife telling all viewers she has to shake-off her husband.

Darn, girl, haven't you heard of condoms?

What were they thinking?
